Throughout the course of history there have been many men who have reached the pinnacle of their careers. In those careers the majority of them have strived to be better men, build a better community and in so doing build a better world.
Some of these men have been Freemasons and they can be proud of the legacy they have left to us in this world. It would be impossible to name every famous Freemason but to give you a flavour we have list some of them.
However as this is a Lodge in Singapore it is important firstly to pay tribute to the Freemasons’ who have strived to build a better community within Singapore.
Probably the most famous Freemason in Singapore history must be the Founder of Singapore, Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles. Other Singapore Freemasons’ may not be so familiar to you but they have also played a key part in Singapore's History. Even though they may not be so famous, I am sure you would have driven down a street named after one of them.
